Spencer Halstead/ Pangborn Twin Shuttle
The twin shuttle machine provides a 39" diameter table (on rails) on each side of the blast chamber. This allows a table to be loaded with parts to be cleaned whilst the opposite table is inside the blast chamber going through the blast cycle. The benefit of this is a huge saving in down time waiting for the parts to be unloaded from the blast chamber prior to being turned or reloaded with new parts. The tables, during the blast process, are rotated in front of an 11 kW blast wheel giving a powerful and speedy blast.
